*LC SMITH CROWN GRADE DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 12ga. Fine old LC Smith with 30″ bbls, choked FULL/IMP-MOD with tapered matted rib. Bbls are marked with the grade on the right side and “MADE TO ORDER BY THE HUNTER ARMS CO. INC. FULTON, N.Y.”. Receiver and lock plates are case colored with fine floral and arabesque pattern engraving with vignettes of bird dogs on both sides. Opening lever has a gold inlaid crown. It is fitted with Hunter one-trigger and ejectors. Wood is highly figured walnut with black tipped fully checkered splinter forearm and extra coverage checkered semi-pistol grips stock 14″ over the original hard rubber buttplate. There is a silver toe plate bearing the initial “RLC”. SN RE43573. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Bbls retain most of an old re-blacking with bright shiny bores. Receiver and lock plates retain about 75% subtle case colors with the balance turned silver.
