All with artist stamp and titled on verso. 1) Chloro-bromide titled “The Hunting Season Opens”, Fairfield, CT, 1934 with 4 exhibition labels: Maywood, NJ Camera Club 1935; Brunswick Camera Club, Greenwich, CT; Special Invitation Greenwich Photographic Society; and Pictorial Photographers of America, NY 1937. 2) Also titled “The Hunting Season Opens”, famous Fairfield and Westchester hounds, with 3 exhibition labels: Special Invitation Greenwich Photographic Society; Pictorial Photographers of America, NY 1937; and Monthly Competition of the Westchester Section Professional Photographers Society of NY. 3) “White Sails” with 3 exhibition labels: First Fall Salon of Photography Larchmont Cinema Club 1934; Maywood, NJ Camera Club 1935; and Brunswick Camera Club, Greenwich, CT. 4) “Rising Mists” harvesting dated 1916 (from Costain notebook, made with early box camera, reputably his first commercial image) with 8 exhibition labels: Award of Merit, Photographers Society of NY 1935; Special Invitation Greenwich Photographic Society; Photographic Society of San Francisco 1935-6; Trainer & Parsons Gallery 1936; Fourth Irish Salon of Photography, Dublin 1933; Brunswick Camera Club, Greenwich, CT; and Maywood, NJ Camera Club 1935. 5) “Rising Mists” chloro-bromide 1934 harvesting scene with exhibition label Sopron 1934.
