TIFFANY STUDIOS DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP.

Large Tiffany Studios double student lamp has Moorish decoration with applied bronze rope scrolls and loops. The lamp is finished in a dark brown patina and supports two leaded glass shades with a band of amber colored acorns against a dichroic cream colored background. The cream colored background glass turns a fiery orange when lit. Each shade is signed on the inside rim “Tiffany Studios New York”. Lamp base is signed on the bronze shade rings “Tiffany Studios New York”. SIZE: Shades 10″ dia. Lamp 29″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Estate of Lynda Cunningham. CONDITION: Base plate on the lamp has come loose. Bronze wire loops on bottom platform are coming loose. One shade appears to have two replaced panels. Lamp has been electrified and bottom of font has been drilled. Wired with appropriate cloth cord. 51361-78 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 1197
