AMERICAN ARMS SIDE SWINGING DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10ga. Unusual American made hammer shotgun with 29″ damascus bbls, makers name on the top rib. Built on CH Fox patent with long extended water table and short side locks. It has a small checkered splinter forearm with checkered Price of Wales rounded pistol grip stock with smooth steel buttplate. SN 122. CONDITION: Good. Retains 30-40% thin brown damascus pattern on the bbls. Traces of case color on the receiver and lockplates with the balance a silver-gray patina. Wood is sound with the forearm being dark and oil stained and the buttstock retaining most of a fine restored finish. Strong bores with scattered pitting. Left bbl appears to have been honed about half way and the muzzle end left dirty. 4-45970 JR429 (200-400)
