SN 42268/1851441/1865390. 1) WINCHESTER MODEL 42 FIELD GUN. Cal. 410. 28″ plain bbl with fixed MOD choke. 3″ chamber as marked. Round grooved pre-war style forearm with pistol grip walnut stock having orig buttplate. 2) WINCHESTER MODEL 12 SHOTGUN. Cal. 20 ga. 28″ bbl with added Simmons oval post vent rib having Glowworm front sight having white plastic mid bead. FULL choke. 2-3/4″ chamber as marked. Orig large brown grooved forend. Replacement Monte Carlo trap dimension stock with hand checkering. LOP: 14-3/4″ over Pachmayr brown ventilated pad. 3) WINCHESTER MODEL 12 ASSEMBLED BLACK DIAMOND SHOTGUN. Cal. 12 ga. Late 1950s action and receiver extension assembled with 1920s vintage bbl and stocks. 26″ nickel steel bbl with solid rib having CYL choke. Hand jeweled bolt and carrier. Straight grip fancy walnut stock with black diamond inlays and trap grade wraparound checkering. LOP: 13-3/4″ over added Hawkins pad. Small round forearm of fancy walnut wraparound trap grade checkering to match stock. CONDITION: 1) Receiver has good blue showing numerous scratches. Bbl and mag tube have lightly worn blue fading to a slightly plum cast. Good bore. Stocks have orig finish showing numerous scratches and handling marks. 2) Retains over 80% Simmons re-blue finish. Good bright bore. Forearm has orig finish with light scratches and marks. Stocks shows numerous scratches and marks. 3) Metal has bright high polish re-blue. Good bore.
