*P. WEBLEY & SON DOUBLE BARREL SHOTGUN. Cal. 10ga. Heavy, large frame gun with 32″ bbls, choked FULL/FULL, dbl. lump with dolls head and third fastener, dbl. triggers and extractors. Box lock receiver, case colored with fine arabesque pattern engraving over about 50% with the makers name on both sides. Wood is nicely figured European walnut with full checkered splinter forearm, Anson & Deely latch, checkered semi-pistol grip stock, 14-1/8″ over a solid red old English pad. SN 40470. CONDITION: Excellent. Bbls retain 97-98% fine re-black. There appears to be a swell in each bbl about 1″ from the muzzle. Receiver retains about 80% subtle case colors.
