SCARCE COLT 1848 BABY DRAGOON WITH RAMMER.

SN 13600. Cal. 31. 6″ oct bbl, 5-shot rnd cyl with remnants hold up stage-coach hold up scene. Left side of frame marked “Colt’s Patent”. SN matches on frame, bbl, trigger guard, backstrap, cyl, AND RAMMER. 1-pc walnut grips, brass backstrap and square back trigger guard are silver plated. Accompanied by a black leather Slim Jim holster. Also accompanying this revolver is a page from “The Texas Gun Collector” from Spring of 1987, page 16, that pictures this exact revolver and states that it was part of the Phillips Collection. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Good. All metal surfaces with gray finish and scattered light surface erosion. Cyl scene is 30% visible. Backstrap with 50-60% thick silver plating. Front strap with 30-40% silver remaining. Grips are very good with good fit and finish and scattered bumps and handling marks.
