SN 151. Cal. 44. 7-1/2″ bbl, marked on top “ADDRESS SAML COLT NEW-YORK CITY”. Left side of bbl assembly provisional proofs, left side of frame marked “COLT’S PATENT”. Six shot rnd cyl with provisional proofs and SN. Brass trigger guard and backstrap, 1-pc walnut grips. PROVENANCE: The Estate of G. W. “Bill” Stewart of Sonora, Texas. CONDITION: Good overall as cleaned and with scattered light surface corrosion throughout. Grips are good, slightly under-sized with losses at toe and handling marks throughout.
