HANDEL METAL OVERLAY CATTAIL TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has metal base with ribbed shaft and single socket. Base is finished in dark brown and signed on the underside with impressed block letters “Handel”. Base supports a metal overlay shade with eight bent panels of caramel slag glass. Each panel is overlaid with metal outlining cattails and leaves. The leaves are painted green and the cattails brown. Shade is unsigned. SIZE: Shade 19-1/2″ dia. Lamp 22-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: From the Unreserved Estate of Lynda Cunningham. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with some minor blistering to finish. Rewired with appropriate cloth cord. 51361-64 (3,000-5,000) – Lot 1157
