ALTERED SWORD. Theatrical artillery sword with 20″ single four-blade is spuriously marked “1861” on one ricasso and the foreign proof mark has been ground from the other side. Mounted in an iron scabbard, which is too large and is missing the tip and is slightly bent. CONDITION: About half of the later nickel finish remains on the blade, 90% on the hilt, 25% on the scabbard. FS757 4-47610 (100-200)
