MILITIA SWORD. 31″ single fuller blade is marked “J S & Co” on the back. Blade has lightly engraved stand of flags on each side. “CAPT/G.AMES” is crudely stamped on the crossguard. CONDITION: Blade edge is heavily chipped with brown patina and pitting elsewhere. Grip has stacked leather washers and the guard is a riveted sheet of brass. 4-46195 (200-400)
