Washington”, unsigned, titled in pencil on verso canvas, inscribed on stretcher “Geo Knowlton No. 41 Gilt” SIZE: 1) 13″ x 17-1/4″. 2) 13-1/2″ x 17-1/2″ PROVENANCE: By descent through the artist’s family CONDITION: Both have discolored varnish and surface dirt.
