RARE HANDEL TULIP TABLE LAMP.

Handel table lamp has dome shade with reverse painted decoration of brightly colored tulips in shades of purple, blue, yellow and orange with shaded tulip leaves surrounding the flowers against a black background. Exterior of shade has chipped ice finish. Signed on the inside edge “Handel 7040” and artist signed “Palme”. Shade rests on an original Handel base with vertically ribbed stem and riser, 3 socket cluster and fleur-de-lis cap. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade 16″ dia. Lamp 23″ t. PROVENANCE: Dr. Mark Jackson Collection. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with some very minor oxidation to the interior.
