*WINCHESTER MODEL 1894 ROUND BARREL RIFLE WITH BUTTON MAGAZINE AND CRESCENT BUTT.

SN 577084. Cal .32-40, 26″ rnd bbl with button magazine, blue finish. Straight grain American walnut stocks with crescent butt. Bbl has standard sights and Winchester address at the mid-point on the left side. Cal mark is at left breech of bbl next to a “WP” proof in oval. Receiver has all standard markings for this model. Receiver also has “WP” proof in oval on front ring. Stocks are straight grain walnut with crescent butt and steel fore-end cap. CONDITION: Very good. Bbl retains 50-60% blue finish with sharp markings. Bore is frosty with strong rifling. Sights are very good. Receiver is a gray brown patina overall with slight traces of blue in protected areas. Hammer and lever have traces of case color in protected areas. Stocks are very good, full size with numerous scratches and dents and a varnish finish. Buttplate is a silver gray patina with some staining, as is the fore-end cap. A nice 94′ model rifle in a rare configuration and a caliber that was not common at the date of manufacture. 50111-7 TEP C&R (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1127
