JOEL PHILIP MEYERS EARLY ART GLASS VESSEL.

The large clear early art glass movement vessel is decorated with abstract strokes of magenta and black color. The center of the vessel is impressed while hot and terminates with a very small opening with lip at top. The reverse is decorated in a faint abstracted serpentine pattern. Signed at the base “Joel Phillip Meyers 1969”. This exact piece is pictured in the book Contemporary Glass by Ray & Lee Grover, color plate 38, between pages 80 and 81. SIZE: 18″ h x 7-1/2″ w x 6″ d.
