*RARE EARLY A H FOX B GRADE EJECTOR 12 GAUGE SHOTGUN.

SN 15974. Cal. 12ga. Chambers measure 2-3/4″. 30″ Krupp marked bbls with wide matted rib, choked Full/Full, sgl steel front bead, splinter forend with Anson & Deeley release. Early style B grade engraving featuring sgl game birds encased in fine scroll work on action sides. Fine scroll work on body borders, trigger guard and top lever. Early style ejectors. Dbl triggers. Gorgeous dark streaked walnut with handsome figure, semi-pistol grip, checkered side panel, measures 14-1/2″ LOP over solid red rubber pad. DAC 1-1/2″, DAH 2-1/4″. Automatic safety. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Fine as partially restored. Bbls retain most of what appears to be it’s orig factory finish. Bbl markings and engraving are crisp. Action retains areas of visible case hardening, vibrant in protected areas and thinning on contact points. Engraving remains clean. Screw heads in fine shape. Trigger bow retains a majority of it’s orig high lustre blue finish. Top lever right of center. Wonderfully restored wood finish with sharp correct B grade style checkering pattern on both stock and forend. Slightly evident two professionally repaired hairline cracks at back of forend.
