SN 303168. Cal. 16ga. 2-5/8″ chambers, 28″ Chromox bbls and Full/Full chokes. Splinter forend with Anson & Deeley release. Ebony inlaid forend tip. Lovely CE engraved ejector action featuring game bird vignettes on receiver sides encased in medium foliate scroll. Bottom of receiver with engraved setter and scroll-work. Trigger bow and screws engraved. Wonderful honey colored walnut with tobacco color streaks and swirls with capped pistol grip and checkered side panels measuring 14-1/8″ LOP over hard rubber buttplate. DAC 1-1/2″, DAH 2-1/4″. Non-automatic safety. PROVENANCE: Remarkable William Larkin Moore Private Estate Collection of Fine Sporting Arms. CONDITION: Very good as partially restored. Bbls retain virtually all reapplied finish. Sharp bbl address, markings and bbl wedge engraving. Bright shiny bores. Traces of case hardening in protected areas; balance a mellow silver patina. Engraving remains sharp. Nice screws. Properly restored wood with high gloss finish that accentuates the color and grain. Well executed, refreshed sharp checkering. Top lever right of center.
