G. ARGY ROUSSEAU MASKS VASE.

G. Argy Rousseau pate de verre vase is decorated with a green mask face on each side with purple and green grape leaves surrounding each mask, all against a cream colored background. Signed on the side with impressed signature “G. Argy Rousseau”. A similar example is pictured in the book G. Argy-Rousseau Glassware as Art by Janine Bloch-Dermant, in the catalogue raisonne section pg 178, photo 14-06. SIZE: 3-7/8″ t. CONDITION: There are some grind marks on the side of the vase partially obliterating the signature, most likely done at the factory, otherwise very good to excellent. 51093-14 (3,000-4,000) – Lot 1108
