*WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 SADDLE RING CARBINE.

SN 195493. Cal. 44 WCF. 20″ bbl. Blue finish. Straight grained gumwood stocks with carbine buttplate. Standard carbine sights. Saddle ring. PROVENANCE: The Dr. Robert G. Cox Estate Collection CONDITION: Very good. Bbl is a pleasing plum-brown patina with some blue in protected areas around the sights. Sights are very good. Bbl markings are clear and sharp. Bore is bright with some erosion towards the muzzle and visible rifling. Magazine tube retains 50% blue with some erosion towards the muzzle. Receiver retains 20% blue finish drifting to a pleasing plum patina with some stains on top and a distinct saddle ring shadow. Bolt retains 80% blue. Hammer and lever a plum-brown patina. Stocks are very good and have been lightly cleaned with a old coat of varnish. Buttplate and bbl band are also an even plum-brown patina.
