MOSER DECORATED COVERED JAR.

Moser covered jar has Islamic inspired decoration of brightly enameled flower sprays surrounding gilded panels with lightly enameled flowers, stems and leaves and an applied three-dimensional slightly iridescent flower in the center of each panel. Jar is completed with a matching lid with stepped finial as well as three applied gilded feet. Covered jar is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection, by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 16, plate 16. SIZE: 22-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: George Klabin Collection.
