LOT OF THREE BOXES OF ANTIQUE AMMUNITION.

1) 2-pc, square corner box of Winchester 40-70-330 cartridges. Box has green label with black lettering and the line drawing of a cartridge on the side. Opposite side is stamped in burgundy ink “F.D. GORDON / SPORTING GOODS / MARYSVILLE, CAL.” 2) Box of forty-two 56-50 cartridges for the model 1865 Spencer rifle and Carbine. Outer box is Square, 2-pcs with green and black top label and contains six 7-rd packets of cartridges. 3) Small packet of ten 56-50 Spencer blanks by Frankford Arsenal, dated 1870. Box has light blue label with black lettering. CONDITION: 1) Box is wrapped so ammunition was not examined, appears to be in good condition with faded and soiled label missing some chips from the edges, possibly repaired corners. 2) Outer box is yellowed with tape on all 4 corners of lid. 3 of the inside boxes are still sealed and the other 3 are full but open. Visible ammo is nice and clean with slightly oxidized lead bullets. 3) Very fine, still sealed, slightly faded and soiled label. 49059-198 JR (600-1,000) – Lot 1088
