FIVE PENNY TOY TRUCKS.

Nice grouping of five penny toy commercial vehicles. Perhaps the most interesting is the Express Parcels delivery van which also has a windup motor within. Another interesting vehicle is the #520 by Distler that has a friction type mechanism attached to its front wheels for forward or reverse propulsion. The open bedded truck, obviously of German manufacture, has an added feature; a Marx trunk. Perhaps the nicest of the lot is the 245 brightly lithographed delivery van. SIZE: Varies from 3-3/4″ to 4-3/4″ l. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: Overall condition of vehicles is very fine.
