UNUSUAL GERMAN LIMO ACCOMPANIED BY BING STREET LAMP.

Of unknown manufacture, this interesting lithograph limousine is in virtually very fine plus to near mint unplayed with condition, however black light inspection indicates possible repaint to four wheels(??). At first glance, the car looks tinny and somewhat cheap, but it has a fair amount of weight to it as the motor is somewhat substantial. Parts of the vehicle appear to be just painted while the rest is finely lithographed. Further adding appeal are a pair of cast cowl lamps directly in front of the chauffeur. Simulated tan colored simplistic spoke wheels with adjustable steering & opening rear passenger compartment doors add to the allure of this vehicle. A really unique & interesting German tin toy from the 1910 era! SIZE: Vehicle approx 8″ l. Lamp post approx 7-1/2″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: As stated above. 1-14755 (1,000-1,500) – Lot 1079
