DISTLER MOTORCYCLE WITH DUAL RIDERS AND SIDECAR WITH PASSENGER.

A very fine as well as rare 1930s motorcycle manufactured by Distler. A slight oddity worth mentioning is that the sidecar is actually on the left side of the motorcycle as opposed to the right side. Finely lithographed motorcycle and sidecar depicting the driver with a seated lady behind him and a young lady riding in the sidecar. Tough motorcycle to find for one’s collection and the overall condition is fine to very fine plus. Clockwork mechanism actually is wound and attached to the rear of the motorcycle with a geared assembly propelling the rear wheels. SIZE: Approx 6-1/2″ l. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: Some uniform miniature scuffs throughout; otherwise as stated above. 1-14708 (1,500-2,500) – Lot 1067
