Tiffany Studios newel post lamp has 3 gold favrile tulip shades with bright gold iridescence showing subtle pink and platinum highlights. Each shade is signed in side the fitter rim “L.C.T.”. Shades are supported by a Tiffany Studios bronze base with vertically ribbed foot with stylized heart design encircling the foot which gives way to a vertically ribbed bronze stem. 3 goose neck arms support the bronze shade holders. Base is finished in a rich brown patina with subtle green highlights. Signed on underside “Tiffany Studios New York 309”. SIZE: Overall 15-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: Dean & Kate Armstrong Collection. CONDITION: 1 shade has shallow flake to outside of fitter which is concealed when shade is in place, otherwise all shades are very good to excellent.
