LARGE HAND PAINTED GERMAN TIN POOL PLAYER.

The classic large bodied gentleman standing at the end of the pool table shooting balls in procession as they emerge from the corkscrew ramp. A classic and perhaps the most desirable of the various pool players that were manufactured by various toy companies in the earlier part of the 20th century. The paint on the toy appears to be in very good plus original finish with no apparent repairs or repainting to this toy. Clockwork mechanism is in functional working order and a number of ball bearings, some of which appear to be original to the toy, are present. SIZE: Overall approx 12″ l.
