MAGIC & NOVELTY MECHANICAL BANKS BY J. & E. STEVENS.

A nice pair of mechanical banks but once again an issue with each unit. The Magic bank appears to have a fair amount of overpaint repainting, but otherwise is complete and in working order. No damage to the castings, no hairline cracks which is typical of this bank, to the roof area. The Novelty bank has a fair amount of original paint but it appears the front door area has been overpainted/repainted. Otherwise bank has no damage to castings, free of hairline damages to pin area on roof which is a typical occurrence. SIZE: Approx 5″ and 6-1/2″ respectively. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: On the underside of bank, the spring loaded casting cover appears to be a replacement.
