NOVELTY MECHANICAL BANK BY J. & E. STEVENS.

A classic mechanical bank that when the spring-loaded front door is opened, a gentleman appears with a tray, and upon closing the door the coin is deposited within. Primarily in a grey polychrome finish with red & dark blue highlighting. NO damage to the castings, especially hairline cracks to the pinned roof section or opening front door. Two typical points of damage. Bank still retains its original trap on underside. Just a nice solid all-original example. SIZE: Approx 6-3/4″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling.
