MONUMENTAL MOSER DECORATED VASE.

Monumental Moser vase has intricate enameled floral decoration covering the lightly ribbed cranberry body. Decoration features stylized flowers, stems and leaves in gold and dark blue enamel. Vase is further decorated with applied three-dimensional flowers and is finished with gilded brass foot, collar and handles. It is speculated that this large and elaborate piece was made for exhibit at a World’s Fair. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection, by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 13, plate 13.
