SIX-SIDED AND CONE TOP STILL BANK BUILDINGS, WITH “SNAP IT” MECHANICAL BANK.

The first being a finely japanned with gilt trim 6-sided building, possibly by Kyser & Rex, an unusual bank as well as petite in size, this piece still retains its original twist pin. The second bank of unknown manufacture is referred to as the Cone Top building which also has a japanned finish (darkened & thinned), and still retaining its original twist pin. The third is a “Snap It” bank produced in still bank and mechanical bank form. This particular bank is 6-sided and has a spring loaded tray, thus making it a mechanical bank. More than likely it had a japanned finish which is all but worn off on this particular piece. SIZE: Varies from 2-1/2″ to 4″ t. PROVENANCE: The Estate of Carol and Jerry Soling. CONDITION: As stated above. 1-14641, 1-14672 (800-1,200) – Lot 1021
