SWISS FEDERAL RIFLE MARKED “C.S.A”.

SWISS FEDERAL RIFLE MARKED “C.S.A”. NSN. Cal. .44, 33″ part oct. bbl. Except for the heavily stamped “C.S.A” marking on the lock and a clipping from an old Bannerman catalog concerning an unidentified Confederate rifle there is nothing to tie this to the Confederacy. The tang sight and the bayonet are missing. CONDITION: Smooth brown patina except for lockplate, which shows signs of cleaning. The stock shows normal usage with varnish over dents and scratches to cover the clipping on the butt. The lock works fine, the set trigger is not working. 4-46560 FS250 (1,000-2,000)
