MOSER SALAMANDER PITCHER. Moser amber glass pitcher is heavily decorated with enameled flowers, stems and leaves with butterflies, insects and a winged dragon. The pitcher has a clear glass gilded spout and neck terminating into heavy drippings. The neck is decorated with a band of brightly enameled flying insects. The pitcher is finished with a gilded and enameled salamander handle extending around the side of the pitcher. RARE MOSER TIGER VASE. Extremely rare Moser vase has faceted sides and shades from clear to amethyst. Vase features two high relief figures of tigers standing amongst intaglio carved palm trees with a colorful applied parrot flying above. The intaglio carving surrounds the entire vase. They are set against a gold and cutback ground with designs of drapes, columns and animals; the influential colors being gold, burgundy, green and white. This monumental vase was a gift from Louis Comfort Tiffany to Edward C. Moore circa 1890. Mr. Moore became Manager of Tiffany & Co., as well as Artistic Director, in 1868. Vase is decorated with blue and green iridescent swirling lines and a green leaf and vine pattern descending from the lip. The bright blue iridescence at the top shows nice purple flashes while the gold iridescence at bottom has rich pink highlights. The interior of the vase shows that the iridescent exterior is atop an amber glass body shading to red at the top. Vase is signed in the polished pontil “Louis C.
