MONUMENTAL MOSER MARQUETRY VASE.

Monumental Moser vase shades from pink to clear to pink. It has a center orange and yellow marquetry poppy that is nicely wheel carved with good detail. Remainder of the vase is intaglio carved with poppies, stems, and leaves. Carving is nicely detailed and quite deep. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. RARE MOSER TIGER VASE.

Extremely rare Moser vase has faceted sides and shades from clear to amethyst. Vase features two high relief figures of tigers standing amongst intaglio carved palm trees with a colorful applied parrot flying above. The intaglio carving surrounds the entire vase. MONUMENTAL MOSER DECORATED VASE.

Monumental Moser vase has intricate enameled floral decoration covering the lightly ribbed cranberry body. Decoration features stylized flowers, stems and leaves in gold and dark blue enamel. Vase is further decorated with applied three-dimensional flowers and is finished with gilded brass foot, collar and handles. It is speculated that this large and elaborate piece was made for exhibit at a World’s Fair. Vase is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection, by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 13, plate 13. MONUMENTAL WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE DRAGON KING VASE.

Monumental Fairyland Lustre vase is reported to be the largest piece of Fairyland Lustre to be made. It is decorated with a large amber colored dragon with gilded highlights rising up from the ocean. A second smaller dragon stands on a green grass ground. Fishing boats are visible around the dragon as well as islands and trees. A yellow bird and a red bird fly above with the red bird flying backwards. The long neck with wide flaring mouth is decorated with gilded buildings rising up to the heavens with fairies and bubbles floating above. Twyford garlands decorate the neck of the vase. Interior of the mouth is decorated with a flaming wheel border. All set against a rich blue background. Fairyland Lustre charger has crimson and violet imps walking across a bridge with a black fairy looking on from the left and a Roc bird flying above. Bright green bushes create a background for the imps and the tree house with purple shingles is set against a flame background. The charger is finished with a black rim with blue flowers surrounding it. Signed on the underside with Portland vase mark, “Wedgwood Made in England” and carries an Issod Collection paper label. WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE GHOSTLY WOODS COVERED VASE.

Large Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre covered vase; shape 2046 is decorated with a center gnarled tree in browns and black which has creature’s heads seemingly growing out of the ends of branches. Scary faces seem to appear out of the hollowed trunk and a white rabbit flees the tree in the foreground. Various other dwarfs and imps peer from behind trees in the background. Vase is completed with its original cover which is decorated with dense foliage, with imps faces peering out between the leaves. Monumental Fairyland Lustre vase is decorated with Imps on a Bridge Tree House pattern. The vase portrays brown imps walking across a bridge with bright green bushes behind and an orange Roc bird flying above, an imp in a yellow canoe paddles below while a black fairy looks on from the left. Two winged fairies appear to be working on the tree house which has a green tile roof set against a pink and crimson sky. The bulbous bottom of the vase has a flaming wheel border against a blue background while the lip of the vase is bordered by black stylized leaves and blue and white flowers. Fairyland Lustre vase in the Torches pattern shows a bright yellow stairway illuminated by two brilliant torches. At the bottom of the stairway is a body of water in midnight lustre with water sprites. There is a white castle in the distance and a Japanese lantern against a flame sky. The vase has a flaring foot that is decorated with a flaming wheel border against a light blue background. Interior of the rim is also finished with a flaming wheel border. STEUBEN “EAGLE ON ROCK” SCULPTURE WITH 18KT GOLD EAGLE.

Retired Steuben crystal and gold sculpture features an 18kt yellow gold eagle launching into flight from a sculpted clear crystal rock. The sculpture was designed by James Houston and first introduced in 1991 and is a limited edition of 100. Crystal piece is signed with lightly engraved signature “Steuben”. Sculpture comes complete with original red leather presentation box as well as a red leather and velvet presentation folder with description of the piece as well as a black and white photo. Eagle weighs 268 grams. SIZE: 7-1/2″ t. CONDITION: There are some very minor flea bites to mounting holes on top of the crystal rock where eagle stands. These are concealed when eagle is in place. Quezal Jack-in-the-Pulpit vase has green pulled feather decoration extending from the bulbous foot to the back of the Jack-in-the-Pulpit face. Green pulled feather design is outlined in gold iridescence and a gold iridescent pulled feather design encircles the foot as well. Back of the Jack-in-the-Pulpit face is encircled by a chain of gold iridescent stylized hearts against a creamy white stretched lightly iridescent background. QUEEN’S PATTERN PEACH BLOW FOOTED VASE.

Large Mt. Washington Peach Blow vase has bulbous body with tricorn top and is decorated in the Queen’s pattern. Vase is finished with applied reeded feet. The color shades from a bluish white to rich peach at the top with fine color separation. Vase retains its original Mt. Washington paper label which reads “Peach Blow Patented Mt. W.G. Co.
