ANCIENT ROMAN GLASS. Lot consists of two Ancient Roman amber colored glass items. First being a blown glass tumbler decorated with vertically etched lines and the accompanying bulbous decanter has tall slender neck and light iridescence. The Ancient Roman glass was the inspiration for Louis Comfort Tiffany to develop his iridescence favrile glass. You can see many influences of Ancient Roman glass design in Tiffany creations. TIFFANY & CO. GRANDFATHER CLOCK. Magnificent Tiffany Flemish-style grandfather clock has beautifully carved oak case attributed to R. J. Horner & Co. The outstanding case is elaborately carved with a lower panel being a high relief tavern scene with nice openwork carving decorating the door of the clock and still exposing the brass pendulum. The face is flanked by two carved figures of musicians playing flutes. The sides of the case are done in heavily grained quarter-sawn oak. The clock has wonderful silvered dial with brass filigree and moon phase dial above. The face is marked “Tiffany & Co.”. The movement is a three-weight driven movement with five tube Westminster chime, the works are marked on the back “JJE England”, presumably for J.J. Elliot Ltd of London. TIFFANY STUDIOS MOSAIC CENTERPIECE. Outstanding Tiffany Studios centerpiece has cast bronze base in the shape of overlapping leaves inset with gold favrile mosaic in stylized diamond forms. The outside leaves of the centerpiece are cast with six 2-1/2″ round openings that hold gold favrile salt or herb dishes. TIFFANY DECORATED VASE. Exceptional Tiffany vase has a platinum iridescent hooked decoration extending upward from the foot against a rich deep purple iridescent background. TIFFANY FAVRILE VASE AND STAND. Extremely fine Tiffany Favrile vase has rich blue iridescence shading to gold iridescence at the neck. The body and neck of the vase have nice vertical ribbing. The vase rests snugly in its bronze holder with three arms extending up the body of the vase and terminating in bronze leaves. The bronze saucer foot has heavy vertical ribbing and the base is finished in bright gold patina. Vase is signed on the bottom “L.C.T.” while holder is stamped “Tiffany Studios, New York”. TIFFANY STUDIOS RED POPPY TABLE LAMP. Exceptionally beautiful red poppy shade has multiple poppies in various stages of bloom in colors of red, purple and lavender. Glass used in the some of the poppies is heavily striated while other poppies are comprised of cats paw-type glass. The poppies rest against a varigated green background glass with tonal changes from soft spring green to deep emerald and even hints of blue. The top and bottom border of the shade has heavily textured glass. Shade ends with a filigree overlay on the interior and exterior of the shade, a stunning example. TIFFANY INTAGLIO CARVED BOWL. Nice gold Favrile bowl has deep center and wide flaring rim. The exterior of the bowl has platinum blue iridescence at the foot shading to gold at the rim. The interior of the bowl is finished in gold iridescence with strong red highlights at the stretched rim. The bowl is beautifully intaglio carved with grape leaves and vines encircling the rim and extending down the walls of the bowl. SIZE: 10″ dia. TIFFANY LILY VASE. Very fine Tiffany lily vase has applied gold iridescent foot which supports the vase decorated with a white pulled feather design against a gold iridescent background. The vase appears to be blown in clear glass with a gold iridescence applied to the interior. This gives an interesting paperweight effect to the exterior of the vase. Signed “L.C.T. T566”. TIFFANY THREE LIGHT LILY LAMP. Nice Tiffany lamp features three lily shades with light gold iridescence and vertical ribbing. While the shades work nicely together, they are not an exact match. Shades are housed in a nice lily base with ribbed foot and three gooseneck arms which support the shades. EARLY GALLE ENAMELED EWER. Exceptional early Galle ewer has heavily enameled red and yellow flowers with green leaves and stems against an amber ribbed background. The center of each flower is made up of an applied cabochon with enamel decoration. The ewer is fitted with an applied snake-like handle which entwines around the front and side of the ewer. The matching stopper has enameled flower with cabochon center. Signed on the bottom in black enamel “Cristallerie Emile Galle et Nancy modele et secor de posse”. SIZE: 12-1/2″ h. overall. DUFFNER & KIMBERLY VIKING TABLE LAMP. One of the most famous lamps created by the Duffner & Kimberly Co. This lamp is referenced as the Viking lamp in D&K’s 1906 catalog. This oversized helmet shaped shade is leaded with six bronze bands setting each panel apart, at the end of each band are sculpted griffins with extended curled tongues. The intricate panels begins with green, shell shaped geometric glass. From this design, two bands of purple horizontal glass encase the intricate design that Duffner has become famous for. The dramatic colors in the Viking border consists of blues, purples, oranges, yellows, pink and deep cardinal red. The shade is finished with a scalloped border. Shade is signed “The Duffner & Kimberly Co. New York”. Shade is supported by the original Viking base depicting three griffins again with their tongues extended. Bottom of base is decorated with talons. Finish of base is the expected black matte finish that came with the shade. SIZE: Shade is approx. 24″ dia. Overall 27″ t. DUFFNER & KIMBERLY LEADED ADAM TABLE LAMP. Absolutely gorgeous, intricately leaded table lamp begins with heavily textured yellow glass at the aperture followed by a band of diamond shaped blue glass extending down into more heavily textured golden hued glass in the shape of feathers extending even further down are triangular and oval striated green glass ending in a bell garland border. Glass used in the border ranges from gold to light green to blue and purple. Shade is supported by a large and impressive Duffner & Kimberly base with the same Adam pattern on the stem and ends in a fluted pad foot. DUFFNER & KIMBERLY PUSSY WILLOW LAMP. Tuck-under style shade begins with a charming yellow, highly texturized glass that extends down from the aperture into a cheerful green, white and butterscotch striated glass in which the Pussy Willow decoration evolves from. Pussy Willows are constructed in colors of gold, yellow, mauve and white. Shade is supported by an ornate Duffner base with an extremely ornate foot and bands with the same decoration on the shaft. Background glass is comprised of every shade green glass imaginable. There are several different techniques of glass from striated to nodular and is completed with irregular border. Shade is signed on the side with applied “DK Co” tag. Shade is supported by an exceptional bronze base of high Art Nouveau styling with matching thistle pattern. HANDEL TREASURE ISLAND FLOOR LAMP. Lamp begins with a reverse painted shade featuring the Treasure Island scene of palm trees, sailing ship and moon over the ocean. Shade is painted in beautiful blues and tropical green. Shade is supported by a Handel harp style base with a nice decorated platform bottom. Base carries a nice patina finish. HANDEL FLOOR LAMP WITH STEUBEN SHADE. The beautiful Steuben brown aurene shade has an applied intarsia border with brown and cream zigzag design. The brown aurene top has subtle iridescence with nice flashes of purple near the border. The interior of the shade is creamy white calcite with light iridescence showing pink and blue flashes. EXTREMELY RARE HANDEL SEAGULL TABLE LAMP. Beautifully painted shade depicts a flock of seagulls in flight, each minutely detailed. Seagulls are flying against a billowy and colorful sky in colors of blue and white with peach and lavender finished in earthen greens and brown at bottom border. This lobed shade has a basket weave exterior which is extremely rare. Signed on the rim “Handel Pat’d No 979664”. Signed on the interior of the shade “Handel 6371” as well as artist initials “HB” (Henry Bedigie). Shade is supported by a three socket Handel base with acorn pulls. GALLE WHEELCARVED VASE. Extremely fine Galle vase has crescent shape and is decorated with salmon-colored wheelcarved flowers, leaves, and stems against a frosted background. One area has a section of delicate intaglio-carved flowers enhancing a three-dimensional effect. Exceptionally well painted Pairpoint Puffy apple tree shade has a multitude of green foliage minutely detailed on which puffed out apples, blossoms, branches and butterflies rest. Shade is signed on exterior “The Pairpoint Corp’n Posted July 9 1901”. Shade rests on an original Pairpoint tree trunk base with two sockets and four arms. Base is signed on underside “Pairpoint Mfg. The puffy decoration is set against a mottled green and white background. Shade is finished with gold gilt outlines on exterior. Shade rests on original Pairpoint base with square foot and cylindrical stem support with raised flower design. The plain slender stem supports a two socket cluster and four arm spider. RARE PAIRPOINT GEESE TABLE LAMP. Lands Downe shaped shade is reverse painted with flying geese against a high blue fall sky with gentle yellow horizon. In the background you can see hints of trees, lakes and foliage. Shade is signed “The Pairpoint Corp’n”. Shade is supported by a three dolphin base with a copper finish, three sockets and two pull chains. Signed on underside “Pairpoint D3076” and a “P” within a diamond. SIZE: Shade is 15″ dia. On the small puffed out sections are painted rose buds in the same coloration with green foliage. The shade is supported by a white Pairpoint base of complimentary style having a four arm spider. PAIRPOINT WINDSOR BOUDOIR LAMP. Beautifully reverse painted Windsor shaped boudoir lamp features a sailing boat on a lake with two cabins and trees. One of the few Pairpoint lamps that depict a person. Minutely detailed and painted in brilliant colors. GALLE CAMEO LAMP. Massive Galle lamp is beautifully carved with an Oriental Poppy design featuring flowers in various stages of bloom with much foliage against a camphor colored background that compliments the red, pink and orange design. Shade is signed on the side in cameo “Galle”. Shade rests on a Galle glass base with corresponding floral and foliage design against a light camphor ground and large saucer foot. Base is signed in cameo “Galle”. SIZE: Shade is 14″ dia. Approx. 30″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with minor roughness and scuffing to shade edge and grinding to glass neck of base that is concealed by hardware. GALLE MARQUETRY STAND. Whimsical Galle stand has marquetry inlay on the top of a frog sitting next to tall slender leaves and playing a stringed instrument. The middle shelf has inlaid frog and leaves with the frog looking upward at a bumblebee. The bottom section of the stand is partitioned for magazines or records. The stand is unsigned but attributed to Galle. We have seen other examples of this frog design that were signed “Galle”. SIZE: Top 13″ sq. Stand 42″ h. GALLE CAMEO VASE. Very nice Galle vase is decorated with dark amethyst cameo leaves and light blue and purple hanging flowers. GALLE WHEELCARVED VASE. Magnificent Galle vase is entirely wheelcarved with purple and pink flowers, stems, and leaves and a large, intricately carved flying grasshopper. The lip of the vase is delicately carved with a rope design just above a frosted band of martele. Just below the lip the vase is engraved with the following words: “Dis aux petitsque les etes sont couverts le colchique des alpes”. The colors and quality of wheelcarving are absolutely exceptional on this vase. Signed on the bottom with engraved signature “E. Galle” and dated “1895”. G. ARGY ROUSSEAU FLOWERED MEDALLIONS VASE. Outstanding G. Argy Rousseau pate de verre vase has a wide decorative band surrounding the shoulder with three round medallions adorned with five red and yellow flowers each. G. ARGY-ROUSSEAU PRAIRIE NIGHTLIGHT. Rare G. Argy Rousseau night light in the Prairie pattern features stylized red flowers amongst tall slender leaves. Very interesting set of three Argy Rousseau pendants in their original presentation box with one oval pendant having a lovely red flower with green stems and purple buds against a frosted background. Second is a rectangular pendant featuring a purple flower with a falling flower petal below against a frosted background. The third is a square pendant with a butterfly having green wings with blue and orange spots. The wings shade to purple near the gray body with orange eyes. Outside of the pendant is encircled with a brown circular motif decoration. Each pendant is signed “GAR”. The fitted velvet lined presentation box is stamped with the retailer’s logo “Rota G. DAUM PATE DE VERRE COMPOTE. Impressive pate de verre compote has stylized molded base of tree trunks flowing upward with branches supporting the top bowl. On each side on the trunk shows a molded nude woman on one side and a nude man on the reverse. Piece is cast in green glass with frosted finish and mottled pink coloration around the rim. PAIRPOINT PUFFY AZALEA LAMP. Wonderful Pairpoint Puffy Azalea lamp is reverse painted with beautiful red, pink, and white azaleas against a rich green leafy background. Lamp is marked on the side in gold “Pat. Applied For”. The shade rests on an original Pairpoint base with four cast feet and bands of cast flowers on the center of the stem and at the foot. Base is finished in brass and is signed on the bottom “Pairpoint MF’G CO.” along with the Pairpoint logo and numbered “3093”. SIZE: Shade 12-1/2″ dia. with 10″ fitter. 21″ h. overall. WILKINSON WATER LILY TABLE LAMP. Shade begins with an aquatic blue background glass and is decorated with an allover waterlily pattern in a watercolor palette of yellows, rose, orange, pink and green. Design shows waterlilies in various shades of bloom and is very attractive. Shade is supported by a decorated library base with four padded feet and fluted stem, three sockets, three acorn pulls and the trademark Wilkinson lock-on mechanism. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. MORGAN BENT PANEL TABLE LAMP. Rare and seldom found massive bent panel lamp attributed to John Morgan & Sons of New York, circa 1910. This eight lobed shade is reverse painted with a red floral and green foliage pattern on a yellow trellis all set on a white background. The exterior appears to be a textured clear glass. This is the only version of this lamp that we have ever seen by this maker. Shade is supported by its original base with hammered finish with two sockets and pull chains. SIZE: Shade is 23″ dia. Overall 24″ t. CONDITION: Overall good with solder work to aperture ring. One panel is separating from metal work at border. Base is very good with one replaced pull chain. 5-67656 (5,000-7,000)

BERGMAN COLD PAINTED BRONZE LAMP. Magnificent large bronze lamp is cast in the form of a mosque with domed roof and tall prayer tower. To the side of the mosque is a cast bronze awning resembling red cloth. Inside the mosque is turban-clad gentleman kneeling in prayer with hands raised. He is kneeling on a beautifully painted prayer rug. The outside of the mosque is painted in warm gold tones and the awning is painted red. The mosque dome has red glass windows that illuminate when lit, while the prayer tower has green glass windows. Lamp is signed on the back with the initial “B” inside the outline of a two-handled urn. It is signed again with the same mark on the foot, which is also signed “Made in Austria”. SIZE: 28-1/4″ h. CHOTKA COLD PAINTED BRONZE LAMP. Lamp depicts an Arabic man with donkey and monkey, both playing instruments as well as a very nicely painted Persian rug. Overhead is a mosque dome surrounding the light fixture comprised of six orange panels. Pole is finished with palm leaves. Signed on side of lamp “Chotka”. SIZE: 16″ t. WILKINSON LEADED ROSE TABLE LAMP. Massive leaded shade with an allover rose decoration in colors of pink, mauve and rouge using striated glass set against a light green geometric background. The aperture ring and border of shade have heavily textured carmel glass. Shade is supported by an equally massive decorated base with three sockets, three acorn pulls and trademark Wilkinson locking mechanism on base and shade. SIZE: Shade is 22″ dia. Overall 26″ t. CONDITION: Very good with minor tight hairlines, replaced socket and solder work to shade. 5-67533 (12,000-15,000)

WILKINSON DRAGONFLY TABLE LAMP. Very rare dragonfly lamp is mostly constructed in various shades of purple glass which depicts the dragonfly’s body and wings. Dragonflies are set against an aquatic blue brick background, also decorating the shade are waterlilies in soft pinks and yellows. Shade is supported by a Wilkinson base that is decorated with waterlilies on the platform base and a ribbed shaft with two old sockets. Base has green patina finish. Shade and base have Wilkinson trademark locking mechanism. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 24″ t. CONDITION: Shade is rough; loose and cracked panels around lower border, numerous areas of lead and solder work, aperture and ring have been redone. 5-67655 (9,000-12,000)

WILKINSON LEADED POPPY TABLE LAMP. Shade begins with vertical butterscotch panels that are complimented with an allover design of Oriental Poppies in various stages of bloom with earthen hued foliage. The glass used in this design is fiery oranges, reds, purples and green. Completing the lamp is a small border of complimentary earthen hued border glass at shade fitter. Shade is supported by a substantial Wilkinson base with trademark lock-in heat cap, three sockets having acorn pulls finishing with a flared stem and rim. SIZE: Shade is 20″ dia. Overall 27″ t. CLASSIQUE REVERSE PAINTED TABLE LAMP. Sunset scene with sparse trees, foliage and lake depicted on the shade. The predominant colors are yellow and orange with many other earthen hues.
