“WHITE JADE CARVED COVERED VASE WITH ELEPHANT MASK HANDLES.

19-20th Century, China. The well carved vase depicts people within center roundel against carved flowers and vines on the disk-shaped body, supported by splaying foot, the neck attached with two elephant mask ring handles, complete with en-suite lid and wooden box, the white jade is of smooth white color with translucency. SIZE: 10-3/4″ h x 5-1/2″ w. PROVENANCE: Estate Collection from a renowned Taiwanese Diplomatic Family – Cai Wanjun (? – 2011), Xu Shaochang (1913–1999), and Ye Gongchao (1904 – 1981). LARGE FAMILLE ROSE TRIPOD CENSER WITH RAISED HANDLES.

19th C, Qing Dynasty period, China. The large tripod censer painted in famille rose against pink ground with flowers, vines, and other auspicious items, the globular body supported by three beast legs, two uprising handles extends from body to above the rim, decorated with ke-fret patterns, the interior in teal ground. Includes original and elaborately carved wooden cover, fitted on top. Six-character Jiaqing mark. SIZE: 18″ h x 17-5/8″ w.
