Large Loetz vase in the shape of a swan is done in white glass with applied dark amber bill and eyes. LOETZ OIL SPOT DESK LAMP.

Loetz desk lamp has dome shaped shade with blue iridescent wavy lines around the bottom giving way to a platinum iridescent all over oil spot decoration with strong green, purple, and blue highlights. Shade is supported by a bronze adjustable desk clamp with two arm socket cluster. The base has a decorated foot and is finished in a rich brown patina with heavy green highlights. AUSTRIAN IKORA TABLE LAMP.

Austrian table lamp has Art Deco Ikora shade with free form clouds of shaded pink and red lightly iridescent oil spots all set against a mottled tan and cream background with mottled blue free form areas outlining the oil spot clouds. Shade rests on a bronze Art Deco vase with stylized round foot, triangular stem with 3 arm spider supporting the openwork shade ring. Loetz inkwell in the Medici pattern has red iridescent oil spot decoration against a gold iridescent background. Hinged lid has red iridescent oil spots against a cream colored background. 1) Loetz vase in the form of a conch shell appears to be riding on top of a wave. Shell is decorated in the Papillon pattern with gold iridescent oil spots with strong blue highlights. Unsigned. 2) Loetz vase in the Diaspora pattern has dimpled finish with bright gold iridescence and strong blue and purple highlights. Vase is finished with a pitched lip. Unsigned. Loetz vase in the lava pattern has bulbous body with pinched sides leading to a square neck with tendrils extending from each corner onto the body of the vase. MOSER MARQUETRY AND WHEEL CARVED DECANTERS.

1) Moser decanter has dark green Marquetry wheel carved poppy with wheel carved stems, leaves and additional carved poppies surrounding the body of the base and encircling the neck. Decanter is complete with wheel carved hollow blown matching stopper. Decanter is titled Sherry in gilded block letters. 2) Moser decanter has amber colored wheel carved flower on the bulbous base with wheel carved stems and leaves and additional flowers encircling the body with a green Marquetry wheel carved bud at the side. Decanter has a faceted neck with matching wheel carved stopper. Titled “Brandy” in gilded block letters just above the bulbous body. 3) Moser clear crystal decanter has wheel carved iris on the front with 2 wheel carved iris leaves curling onto each side. Decanter is titled “Port” above the iris in gilded block letters and is finished with a faceted neck with 3 pair of horizontal cut bands climbing the neck complete with faceted stopper. MOSER APPLIED & DECORATED VASE.

Moser vase is clear shading to amethyst glass and is decorated with an applied 3-dimensional hawk flying above two applied 3-dimensional mallard ducks which are just getting ready to land in a pond. The pond and wooded shoreline are enameled in shades of green, yellow and brown. Backside of the vase is undecorated. Signed “Moser Karlsbad” on the underside. SIZE: 12″ t. Moser ewer is decorated with a gilded collar surrounding the shoulder of the ewer. Collar is further decorated with brightly enameled stylized flowers, leaves and vines. Large Moser center bowl has gilded background with cutout wheels showing cranberry staining behind. 1) Three Moser wineglasses have blue Marquetry berries against a clear glass vertically ribbed cup on long slender stem. The berries are suspended from a cut glass branch and leaves with green staining. Unsigned. 2) Three Moser wines and one tumbler have Marquetry red strawberries on each of the vertically ribbed cups. Each of the wines have long slender stems and inverted saucer foot. Each piece has cut leaves and stems with green staining. Unsigned. 3) Moser Art Deco decanter and two cordials have inlaid Marquetry spheres of green and blue. The spheres are connected by 3 cut glass wavy lines and the decanter is finished with a nickel plated collar spout and handle. Decanter is finished with a clear glass cone shaped stopper. Unsigned. MOSER DECORATED EWER.

Moser ewer has a yellow and white swirled and striated glass body and is decorated with a band of brightly enameled stylized flowers topped by a gilded band with brightly enameled jewels. A matching gilded band adorns the lip of the ewer and the piece is finished with an applied and decorated amber glass handle. The ewer is signed on the underside “Moser 125” and is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 59, plate 69. SIZE: 11-3/4″ t. MOSER MONUMENTAL MARQUETRY VASE.

Monumental Moser vase has wheel-carved dark red marquetry flower on the front with two dark green marquetry buds on the sides. Vase has an applied green thread forming the stem of the blooming flower. The rest of the vase is beautifully intaglio carved with flowers, leaves and stems in an all-around design, with top rim finished with irregular border and the entire vase shading from clear to transparent olive green at the base. RARE MOSER TIGER VASE.

Extremely rare Moser vase has faceted sides and shades from clear to amethyst. Vase features two high relief figures of tigers standing amongst intaglio carved palm trees with a colorful applied parrot flying above. The intaglio carving surrounds the entire vase. The 22-pc Heckart stemware set consists of seven goblets, seven wines, and eight cordials. Each piece has an amber colored stem and foot supporting a clear glass vertically ribbed bowl with applied tooled spiral extending one-third of the way up the bowl. TWO MOSER DECORATED LOVING CUPS.

1) Moser clear glass loving cup has gold enamel scroll and floral design surrounding a center platinum background with five applied bead flowers. The pattern repeats itself three times around the cup. The cup is finished with three applied clear glass handles; each decorated with a single row of cream colored enamel beads running down each side. Loving cup is pictured in the book Moser Glass: The Klabin Collection by Gary D. Baldwin, pg. 46, plate 54. 2) Moser green glass loving cup has all over gold enamel floral designs. TWO AUSTRIAN CARVED CHALICES.

1) Austrian chalice is cobalt blue cut to clear with a front intaglio carved panel of an industrial looking site with large buildings and bridges crossing a river. Backside of the chalice has intaglio carved grapevines, leaves and bunches and bottom section of the chalice is cut with a band of stylized flowers. Top of foot is faceted and the edge is finished with faceted windows. Unsigned. 2) Chalice has 3 carved and etched medallions along with a fourth medallion with crosshatch carving. Goblet bowl is further decorated with applied red and blue glass beads with clear coraline leaves and stems surrounding the medallions. The stem is finished in blue overshot while the foot is finished in frosted overshot with applied green and red glass beads. Unsigned. Lot consists of a decanter with clear glass tapering body with faceted neck. Decanter is decorated with a wide band of blue enameled flowers and leaves all surrounded by swirling stems and a gilt decorated band at top and bottom. Decanter is completed with an applied clear glass handle with gilded trim as well as a faceted stopper. Decanter is accompanied by 4 matching cordials with faceted stems and inverted saucer foot. Pair of champagne flutes attributed to Lobmeyr have faceted stems and body and each is decorated with a hunting scene. One shows two rabbits sitting beneath a scarecrow eating cabbage while a hunter takes aim with his rifle. Other depicts a hunter with a spear preparing to face a charging boar. SIZE: 8-1/4″ t. 1) Clear glass wine has faceted stem with zipper cut and gilded edge to each facet. The wine is decorated with a colorful enameled depiction of a courting couple walking on a country path. The wine is also decorated with gold enamel scrolls. 2) Tumbler is clear glass with faceted sides. Tumbler has an enameled scene encircling its body depicting a hunter with spear and sword facing a charging bore with a second hunter with spear and sword as well as a dog standing behind. The faceted foot has gilded decoration with gilded stylized leaves ascending onto the side. 3) White opalescent goblet is decorated with white enamel beading and gold enamel stylized leaves and scrolls. TIFFANY ELLIS & YOUNG TEA SET.

Tiffany Ellis & Young tea service consists of a teapot, creamer and covered sugar. Each piece has repousse flowers surrounding the bulbous body as well as covering the vine shaped handles. There is also an applied vine and flowers encircling the spout of the teapot. The teapot handle is complete with bone insulators. Each lid is done in a stylized leaf design with swirling finial. Each piece has central cartouche which have not been engraved. Marked on the underside “Tiffany Young & Ellis G&W”. Total weight of the set approx. 75.7 troy oz. SIZE: Teapot 10″ t. PROVENANCE: Accompanying this lot is an affidavit from the current owner stating that this tea set was descended from Rear Admiral Charles Boarman, his great-great-great grandfather. Rear Admiral Boarman was a decorated US Naval Officer serving from 1811-1876, most notably on the USS Brandywine during the Mexican-American War. At the time of his death he was the longest serving naval officer on the Navy Register with 68 years of service. He died September 13, 1879. GORHAM STERLING SILVER TEA SERVICE.

Gorham sterling silver tea service in the Medallion pattern has tea pot and coffee pot, covered sugar and creamer and waste bowl. Each piece has a simple spherical body with a raised vertically ribbed band surrounding the center with a medallion on each side. Each of the lids is finished with a detailed sterling silver butterfly finial and each pot handle is mounted with bone insulators. Marked on the underside with Gorham lion, anchor and “G” hallmarks, “Bailey & Co. Sterling 212B”. There is also a “B” datemark for 1869 as per the Gorham datemark chart. Birds are flying against a shaded background of green, red and yellow giving the feel of an evening sunset all against a mottled blue glaze. WEDGWOOD FAIRYLAND LUSTRE MALFREY POT.

Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre malfrey pot is decorated in the fairy slide and birds nest robbers pattern. The intricate pattern depicts blue fairies stealing eggs from a birds nest, while the colorful bird flies above. Another panel shows a green fairy climbing a tree with a bridge in the background and a sage meditating above the bridge. The slide panel depicts brown imps sliding down a slide from the top of a sycamore tree with a large purple-winged fairy looking on. The pattern is all set against a flame background. The malfrey pot is finished with a dome lid with bridge design and blue, green fairies below. Cameo brooch features a profile of a bejeweled Victorian woman which is intricately carved in black and white and is housed in a 14k rose-yellow gold (tested) frame. Adorning the frame are 18 natural pearls as well as a fold-down bail so this can be worn either as a brooch or a pendant. Mt. Washington Royal Flemish kerosene lamp is decorated with an Arabian scene with a front panel showing two Arabs at prayer with camels by their side. LAVA GLASS VASE.

Vase in the manner of Mt. Washington lava glass has colorful glass shards imbedded in the shiny black glass body. Vase is similar to Mt. Washington lava glass but the Mt. Washington glass we are familiar with had crisp defined lines to the shards and these shards are more flowing than we have seen as a result we cannot guarantee that this is or is not Mt. Washington. There is a photograph in the book Mt. Washington Art Glass by Betty B. Sisk, page 153 which shows a ewer that appears to have more flowing lines similar to this vase. SIZE: 3-/4″ t. Early Loetz vase in the octopus pattern has cream colored controlled bubble octopus lines against a shaded brown ground. PAIR OF MARY GREGORY VASES.

Pair of vases have an internally decorated bodies with blue modeling within the clear glass vase. Each vase is decorated with a Mary Gregory winter scene. One scene has a boy and girl ice skating on a pond with a clock tower in the background. The other vase has a scene with three young boys having a snowball fight on a frozen pond. Back of each vase is decorated with snow covered ground, barren trees and birds in flight. Each vase has applied gilded glass handles and matching stoppers with gilded acorn finials. Unsigned. Victorian vase attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons has pink shading to cream body with swirling ribs on the domed foot supporting a gilded metal leaf form stem and glass flower form top. MT. WASHINGTON CAMEO GLASS LAMP.

Mt. Washington cameo glass lamp has yellow cut to white cameo decoration of birds, flowers and scrolls. The cameo figures are nicely etched to give detail. INTAGLIO CARVED CRANBERRY TO CLEAR VASE.

Whimsical vase has intaglio carved scene of cats dressed in human clothing in various forms of human activity. A lovely lady cat is clothed in a long dress with apron reading a poem as she stands on a platform. Another scene shows cats on ladders wearing pants and vests hanging garland from a balcony with a lady cat below with a bouquet of flowers in her apron and, finally a male cat in jacket and knickers walking towards the lady cat reading poetry with a flower in his hand all set amongst foliage and trees. Bulbous bottom of the vase is intaglio carved with exotic birds, insects and foliage. Vase is unsigned. SIZE: 13″ t. BACCARAT SNAKE VASE .

Baccarat vase is done in opalescent glass. Foot is pressed in the shape of rocky ground and an applied glass snake coils around the cylindrical neck which is impressed with bamboo shoots and a large insect near the lip. The insect and snake are enameled while the bamboo shoots are highlighted with gilding. Vase rests in the original circular brass frame depicting bamboo with four brass ball feet. BLACK FOREST TANTALUS.

Black Forest tantalus has carved walnut case with birds, oak leaves and acorns decorating the top and front with carved medallions surrounded by oak leaves on each side with dog’s heads in the middle of each medallion. The case opens to reveal four cut glass decanters and 16 cut glass cordials. SIZE: Box: 13-1/2″ w x 9-1/4″ d x 14″ t to top of carving. CONDITION: Very good with some wear to finish on case. GERMAN PORCELAIN PLAQUE.

German porcelain plaque attributed to KPM has detailed scene of believers lowering Jesus from the cross. Scene is well painted and nicely detailed. Plaque is unsigned and numbered “319” on the back. FOUR SINCLAIR AMERICAN BRILLIANT CUT GLASS CANDLESTICKS.

Four Sinclair American Brilliant cut glass candlesticks have cut and engraved floral pattern of roses, stems and leaves surrounding the stem of the candlestick with a zipper pattern decorating the faceted shoulder and candle cup. Center of each stem has a controlled teardrop bubble. Foot of each candlestick is cut with a floral wreath. Each candlestick is signed with an acid etched “S” within a wreath. SIZE: 12″ t. CONDITION: One candlestick has large chip to the lip. One has sizable chip to the edge of the foot. Decanter has a green cut to clear pattern with a stork in flight in the midst of cut glass flowers and vines encircling the decanter. Decanter is finished with a faceted stopper and cut starburst on the underside. Unsigned. SIZE: 9″ t. STERLING SILVER EDWARDIAN EPERGNE.

Edwardian epergne has sterling silver frame with openwork foot and top and 4 arms extending from the top of the foot and curving outward, each supporting a matching silver basket with emerald green glass liner. CRANBERRY GLASS SILVER OVERLAY PITCHER.

Cranberry glass pitcher has silver overlay decoration of iris flowers, stems and leaves with a center cartouche below the spout engraved with a monogram. Chinese export porcelain plate has center spread eagle with red, white and blue shield and a banner in his beak which reads “Pluribus Unum”. PAIR OF RAINBOW CUT GLASS FONTS.

SIX DECORATED STEMS.

The lot of stems includes a pair of decorated wine glasses with clear foot and bowl and green twisted ribbed stem. The foot and bowl are decorated with raised green grape clusters with clear vines and tendrils. Each bowl has an ornate engraved and gilded monogram. The lip and edge of foot are gilded. The lot also includes a set of 4 enameled sherbets with mauve stylized flowers with green stylized stems and leaves surrounding, all with gilded outlines. Each stem is gilded. SIZE: Wines 3-6/8″ t. Royal Vienna charger is decorated with a central square painting of classical figures of 3 men and a woman inspecting the inscription on a stone tomb with outlines of castles in the background. Charger is marked on the underside with a blue beehive mark and signed in red “Wien Die Shafer von Arcadien”. SIZE: 11-1’2″ dia. CHARLES LOTTON ART GLASS LAMP.

Large Charles Lotton lamp has art glass shade with red and white flowing flowers with stylized brown and green leaves all set against a cobalt blue background. The interior of the shade is finished with blue iridescence showing strong purple and green highlights. The iridescence shows through to the front side giving a nice luster to the shade. Shade rests on its original base with art glass shaft having matching band of flowers and leaves around the bulbous shoulder of the base. The art glass shaft is housed in a stepped round metal foot with metal riser and 2 sock cluster. Lamp is finished with a blown cobalt blue pulled feather finial. All set against a blue and pink striated sky and mottled orange moon. Leaded glass window has grapevines, leaves and clusters against an amber glass background. Grapevine has green, purple and blue undulating glass leaves and 3 grape clusters constructed of blue chunk jewels with a plated red panel over the top giving the grapes their purple coloration. Grape panels are surrounded by a border of random sized clear glass panels with chipped edges to emulate chunk jewels or turtlebacks. Window is housed in its original painted wood frame. Ornate Quezal chandelier has 6 bronze arms each terminating in a stylized women’s face with electrical cords descending from the mouths. Fixture also has 3 arms with bronze flame shaped gas burners at each end. Fixture houses an inverted dome Quezal shade in the center with gold iridescent fishnet design against a creamy white background encircling the dome. Chandelier also has 6 matching Quezal shades with fishnet design against a creamy white background. Each shade is finished on the interior with bright gold iridescence and are signed in the fitter “Quezal”. Chandelier is finished with a row of chains with ball ends surrounding the center dome. Quezal bowl has applied flaring foot with vertical ribbing which meets the vertical ribbing on the bulbous bowl with flaring lip. MONUMENTAL QUEZAL SILVER OVERLAY VASE.

Monumental Quezal vase has bulbous body with slender neck and flaring rim. The vase is finished in gold iridescence with purple and blue highlights and very bright gold iridescence on the interior. Vase is further decorated with sterling silver overlay flowers, stems and leaves encircling the body. Signed in the polished pontil “Quezal” with a scroll. SIZE: 14-7/8″ t. CONDITION: There have been repairs to the silver overlay, one area had come loose and was glued back with glue residue remaining. The silver has lifted below the glue repair. On a silver area near the foot there are three flakes indicating the silver has lifted and been repaired. Quezal lamp base has spherical glass body with gold iridescent wave design surrounding the body which is additionally decorated with a gold iridescent vertical zipper design all against a creamy background. American lamp base attributed to Lustre Art has platinum iridescent hooked feather design rising from the bottom against a cobalt blue iridescent background. Lamp base also has a yellow lightly iridescent pulled feather design descending from the top all against a creamy white, slightly iridescent ground. ART GLASS PULLED FEATHER VASE.

Art glass vase has blue pulled feather design on the top of the foot with each pulled feather outline in gold iridescent. Body of the vase is decorated by blue and gold iridescent pulled feathers all set against a clam broth lightly iridescent background. Vase is finished with an applied cobalt blue lip. While the base is signed on the underside “L.C. Tiffany – Favrile 8530J” we do not believe that this is a Tiffany vase. It is however a very good quality piece of art glass. SIZE: 9-1/2″ t. STEUBEN LARGE INVERTED DOME CHANDELIER.

Steuben chandelier has very large inverted dome calcite shade with acid cut back design of flower pots, garlands, ribbons and medallions surrounding the edge of the shade. Center of the shade is decorated with a stylized acid cutback starburst. Shade is fitted with 4 bronze or brass leaf shaped brackets that attach to a brass 4 armed Bradley & Hubbard fixture which suspends the shade from the ceiling. Shade is unsigned. GOLD IRIDESCENT ART GLASS VASE.

Art glass vase has 3 horizontal rows of pulled nubs surrounding the bulbous body. Vase is also decorated with light vertical ribbing all with a bright gold iridescent finish. DURAND HEART AND VINE VASE.

Durand vase has platinum iridescent heart and vine pattern surrounding the vase. Platinum iridescence has strong light blue highlights and is set against a dark blue shading to black at the foot iridescent background. DURAND KING TUT VASE.

Durand vase is decorated in the King Tut pattern with blue and bronze iridescent lines with areas showing strong platinum highlights. PULLED FEATHER VASE.

Large pulled feather vase attributed to Durand has gold iridescent pulled feather design descending from the lip and ascending from the foot against a cream colored background. Each pulled feather is outlined in orange. Vase is accompanied by a letter from the Museum of American Glass dated 1993 in which the curator says she has researched this vase and has found a photograph of a similar example in a lamp base. The photograph of the lamp was part of the Martin Bach Papers. A black and white copy of that photo also accompanies the vase. While the vase shape and pattern differs somewhat from that of the lamp base photograph, it is very similar. SIZE: 10-1/2″ t. Vase is finished with applied gold iridescent threading and an orange iridescent finish to interior of mouth. Steuben shade has gold iridescent heart and vine pattern surrounding the shade against a brown aurene background. Gold iridescent pattern has bright blue highlights at the top. Tiffany Studios senior floor base has four feet supporting the round platform with onion decoration surrounding the platform and applied bronze wire tendrils extending from each onion up the stem. Three arms support the 5-1/2″ shade ring. Base is complete with six socket cluster and is finished with a dull gold patina. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 28624”. Tiffany favrile vase has yellow background graduating to amber at the shoulder with dark amber/red vertical bands from rim to foot. Vase has a factory drilled hole in the bottom and signed on the underside “L.C.T. 1014B”.
