RUSSIAN IMPERIAL PRESENTATION GOLD JEWELED LADY’S WATCH.

Pavel (Paul) Buhre, circa 1902, Russia/Switzerland. The outer case engraved “Present De Sa Majeste / L’empereur Nicolas II / A Mme E. Baletta / 3 Fevrier 1902”, SN “0 583”. The enamel dial with Arabic numeral chapter ring and subsidiary chapter ring in red enamel marking the minutes. The minute and hours hand of cast scrolling gilt metal, enamel dial with tight hairline cracks radiating from center post. The exterior of the front cover overlaid with an Imperial Eagle with blue enamel crown further inlaid with diamond chips and a central diamond. The movement with Cyrillic for “LU”, the inner rear case cover stamped with the numeral “54484”. SIZE: Diameter of dial 25.4 mm. Diameter of watch 31.75 mm. CONDITION: Case appears in very good condition, one spot loss to blue enamel in area of crown, all stones present. We do not guarantee working order of this watch. 52166-7 (4,000-6,000) – Lot 3152
