UNUSUAL BLERIOT DISPLAY MODEL OF SINGLE ENGINE FIXED WING EARLY AIRCRAFT.

Early 20th century, France. Model attributed to Louis Bleriot, aircraft designer and architect. Model designed from all wood frame. Single two blade propeller at the center of fuselage designed with large engine coweling continuing to an open single pilot compartment with four spoke steering wheel. Model with a tapered fuselage and unusual lower body triangular form. The airplane with single fixed wing design mounted at cockpit with unusual triangular tail fin section additionally fitted with three tail flaps. The entire fuselage covered in thin translucent waxed paper. SIZE: 31″ overall h. 79-1/2″ overall l. 89″ approx w. CONDITION: All struts and frame appear intact. All wire stabilizers appear present.
